Talkin' Pacific Garbage Patch Blues Lyrics

Pile of plastic I currently call home
A shifting mass of bottles and straws
The plaque heaves under my feet
Hard to keep balance when fishing for meat
I live normal life out here
Sure, it's a horrible nightmare
But the second hand shop is free
My floor contains anything I could need
A toothbrush you threw out last week
This bottle still got some shampoo
A takeout container of seaweed
All these supplies theres nothing I cant do
I do wish I had some canned food
But it sunk to the ocean floor
I really got used to the Acrid odor
But I get more sun than arizona
I'm 80 percent microplastics
My skin has polyethylene patches
My saliva kinda waxy
Love finding strike anywhere matches
Pack of camels I found on a turtle last winter but I doubt I'll ever find a zippo
Lit a cigarette on a parking ticket and walked on down the road it was a normal day
Seen a man over on the corner
Said howdy friend hows it going
He screamed a bit and away he flew
I guess he thought I was a foreigner
Interrupt me 100 years in the future
Everybody now living on garbage
I dream of a clean world
Il let you be in my dream if I can be in yours
